Ayadh Farooq has 35 years of experience working in the Middle East. He was the recipient of the Human Resource Leadership Award given by the World HRD Congress in 2009.
He started his career in the bank formerly known as National Bank of Dubai as a supervisor
before leaving the bank to become a
Commercial Director for Zener Electronics. In
the 90’s he returned to the National Bank of Dubai and worked his way up from
various positions and departments until he became the Head of the bank’s UAE Nationals Development Department. By 2009 he
was the Head of
Nationalization for the
newly named Emirates NBD.
It was during his working with young
recruits, locals and expatriates alike in Emirates NBD, that he developed the
fundamentals of the Rounded Thinker program. He included elements of it in the Program for Accelerated Learning (PAL) that he
developed for newly hired graduates of the bank. During the 5 year
implementation of this program, it churned out managers, leaders and thinkers
for the organization who now hold prominent positions in the bank or had moved
on to other Middle East organizations as well.
Ayadh has trained over 200 young nationals and expatriates. He has also trained over 300 people as an
accredited trainer of the “Think On Your Feet” training program. He is
also currently a special consultant and Director for National Development for Du Telecommunications.
